Come check out the latest show put on by a recent alum: Photos for my homies in the name of skateboarding by Josh Hotz! On November 22nd, Must Wine Bar will be hosting the closing reception for Josh Hotz’s Exhibition of skateboard culture and action photographs.
At 5pm, join us for his Artist Talk, where he will explain the work and answer any questions you may have. Everyone who attends is invited to stick around and take a look at the wonderful food from the menu and fill their bellies before the closing party starts at 7pm! During the party, enjoy inexpensive but delicious appetizers, $5 Martinis and $5 pints courtesy of the local Ashton Brew Pub. Artwork will be for sale for the entire night! Kichessippi has donated some giveaways for purchasers! T-shirts and beer glasses! (Prices listed below).
When the party at Must is over, Babylon has teamed up with Josh to host the official after party. Come watch some skateboarding contests go on INSIDE the bar, and if you didn’t get enough of the photos at the show there will be a slideshow of all the work playing as well.
Showing will be his medium, and large format photography of the skateboarders he hangs, travels, and of course, shoots with on a regular basis. Action photos, and portraits. Meant to give the viewer an insiders view of the culture.
